Pulse Radiology Institute (PRI) is an ARMRIT-accredited online radiology school designed for non-allied health professionals seeking careers in diagnostic imaging. We offer an 18-month Associate Degree in Science with a specialization in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Our program has been granted full academic licensure approval by the State of Florida – Commission for Independent Education (CIE) as of March 8, 2022. History
- June 2020: Pulse Radiology Institute was founded in Saint Augustine, Florida, as the first online ARMRIT-accredited radiology institute for non-allied health professionals seeking an Associate’s Degree in MRI.
- January 29, 2021: PRI earned provisional licensure from the Commission for Independent Education (CIE), License No. 7806.
- March 8, 2022: PRI was granted annual licensure by the CIE, affirming the institute’s compliance with state standards for educational quality.
- May 21, 2022: PRI received programmatic accreditation from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), solidifying its commitment to providing top-tier MRI education.
- Ongoing: Pulse Radiology Institute offers an 18-month Associate’s Degree in Science with a specialty in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), utilizing the Canvas LMS platform. This system enhances the online learning experience by providing access to live and recorded lectures, discussion boards, projects, assignments, and weekly faculty hours, ensuring students receive personalized attention and support throughout their studies.

At Pulse Radiology Institute (PRI), we are committed to providing the latest, best-in-class technology to enhance the student learning experience. In 2021, we partnered with Corsmed to become the first MRI institution to offer MRI simulation scanning capabilities. This innovative tool allows instructors to teach technical skills, demonstrate clinically-used protocols, and guide students through proper image slice placement on a real MRI console — all in a virtual environment. By incorporating this hands-on technology from day one, we ensure that students gain valuable technical experience before entering their clinical externships.
In addition to our cutting-edge virtual training, Pulse Radiology Institute leverages years of radiology education experience through Pulse Radiology Education. We have established clinical agreements with over 1,000+ clinical locations nationwide, including top-tier hospital networks and imaging centers, allowing our students to gain real-world experience from anywhere in the United States.
