MRI Technologist Program Tuition and Fees at Pulse Radiology Institute
Tuition and Fees
We know cost matters. Most people looking at MRI programs are working adults who cannot afford to quit their jobs and take out massive loans. That is exactly why we built our payment structure the way we did.
Here is how it breaks down:
- $100 registration fee when you sign up (this one is non-refundable)
- $5,000 down payment when you officially enroll
- $900 per month for 20 months after that
- $150 graduation fee before you walk
Total cost: $23,250
No banks. No lenders. No interest. Just straightforward monthly payments that fit into a normal budget.
Why We Set It Up This Way
Most MRI technologist schools expect you to borrow money. You take out loans, graduate, and then spend years paying them back while trying to start your career. We think that is backwards.
The $5,000 down payment shows you are serious and locks in your spot. After that, $900 a month is manageable for most households. A lot of our students keep working during the online portion of the program, which means they can cover tuition as they go.
By the time you graduate, you owe nothing. Zero student loan payments. You start your new career with a credential and a clean financial slate.
What Your Tuition Actually Covers
That $23,250 is not just for classes. It includes everything you need to complete the program and get certified:
- All your coursework through the Canvas learning platform
- ScanLab MRI simulation training that helps you practice scan protocols, slice positioning, parameter adjustments, and MRI system operation before your clinical externship
- Placement at a clinical externship site
- Preparation materials for your ARMRIT certification exam
There are no hidden fees waiting for you halfway through. What you see is what you pay.
One More Thing About Pricing
Tuition can change over time at the Institute’s discretion. But here is the part that matters: if you are already enrolled when an increase happens, it does not affect you. Your price stays locked at whatever it was when you started.

About Our Academic Schedule
Pulse Radiology Institute runs year-round so students can finish the 18-month program without unnecessary delays. The schedule includes both classroom learning and hands-on clinical rotations. If you are in your clinical externship, your schedule might look different depending on where you are placed. Work that out directly with your site supervisor since every hospital and imaging center has their own policies.
When New Classes Start
We bring in new groups of students throughout the year. If you want to know when the next cohort begins, call our admissions office at (904) 404-9008 or check the admissions page on our website. Spots fill up, so reach out early if you are serious about getting started.
